5. Every Tuesday evening (6-9 pm), the instructor teaches an ATS course at NCMC, and is usually available at the office of Myungja Kim (NCMC Librarian) between 4 and 5:30 pm. Students may see him there for any inquiry concerning this course.

course:
The students will
1. Personally experience revival in their hearts
2. Find the vision God has in their lives
3. Nurture an evangelistic outlook that transcends barriers of culture, idea, and race, through gaining a general knowledge of (1) Dr. Simpson’s life, ministry, and thought in the 19’th century context and (2) Nyack history, mission, and contribution to the Christian church.
III. Learning Tools
To achieve the learning goals, the students will be required to the following:
1. Preparation before the first class
Students are required to read the two required textbooks before they show up in the class on the first day of the class. Otherwise, they will have difficulty taking the final exam that will be given on that day (in the afternoon). The two books are:
Niklaus, R. L. ed. All for Jesus. Christian Publications, 1999.
Simpson, A. B. Fourfold Gospel: Jesus Christ Our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, Coming King. Christian Publications, 1984.
Both textbooks are available at Mr. Lee’s book table on the 10’th floor of 335 Broadway/93 Worth Street or at Christian Publications, 315 West 43rd Street New York (Manhattan), NY 10036. For those whose first language is Korean, the Korean translation of All for Jesus is available at the cost of $15.- from the instructor’s office at Alliance Theological Seminary or Korean District Office of the Christian & Missionary Alliance located at 550 Durie Ave., Closter, NJ 07640 (phone number: 201-750-6750).

4. Students are required to arrive at the classroom latest 5 min. before the class starts.
5. Students are required to attend all the class without interruption.
IV. Learning assessment
Two learning assessment tools are: (1) Final Exam: 60%; (2) Students’ Presentation & Participation: 40%
To pass this course,
students are required to score minimum 70 out of 100 when the two assessment
tools are combined.
V. Special Instructions
1. Classroom: To be notified.
2. Lunch: You may bring your own lunch or eat at the cafeteria ($4.25 per person) on the third floor, Boon Center.
3. Transportation: Buses usually leave on 7:30 am from 361 Broadway to Rockland Campus on both days. You must have reserved your seat by contacting Raquel Casilla (Faculty Secretary). Otherwise, you must come to the classroom on your own. Be there on time!
4. You must bring your own pencil for taking the final exam on April 1.
VI. Policy:
No absence is allowed. Any absence will result in failed grade of the course.
Nyack College has an honor policy and a statement of Academic Honesty. Classes at Nyack College are designed so that students will not only know the truth, but will speak and live the truth in a manner consistent with the vocation of ministry as given by God. Nyack College policies provide:
1. That students shall neither give nor receive any assistance, whether verbal, written, or electronic, during quizzes or examinations at Nyack College beyond that specifically permitted by the instructor.
2. That in all coursework, students will not use the words or ideas of another person without so specifying. This statement includes the use of published and unpublished written materials and the assistance of others (writers, editors, etc.) in the production of coursework.
The policy further states the following: “Any students apprehended in cheating, including plagiarism, during his or her college matriculation, is subject to the following discipline:
a. First offense – failure in the course involved.
b. Second offense – dismissal.”
“Cases of cheating are reported to the Dean of the College. Appeals may be made to the Student Government Judiciary Board or the college administrators, with the provision that the instructor involved and the Dean of the College be present when the case is considered.”
